Natural Treatment for Back Pain May Be the Best Choice

from:

Back pain is an ailment that affects many people every year. Whether it's chronic back pain or acute back pain, millions of dollars are spent on treatment and health care costs. Very few people can say they've never had back pain at some time in their lives. Second only to headaches, back pain is the most common neurological disorder in the U.S. Back pain can come from a simple muscle strain or sprain, slipped disc, osteoporosis, tumor, spinal stenosis or simply from overuse.

One of the first steps is to see your doctor to determine the cause of your back pain. Many people try to heal their pain themselves by using ice on the injured area and taking over the counter medications. If this doesn't help the pain, then they seek other treatments. More and more people, however, are choosing to go with natural treatment for back pain as opposed to many of the traditional methods that doctors have used for years.

Natural treatment for back pain, also referred to as alternative treatments, consist of natural herbs, vitamins, minerals, and methods that are "natural" and noninvasive. With all the media attention on prescription drug abuse and overuse, many people don't want to take prescription drugs for their back pain. Not to mention, many of the side affects seen with prescription pain relievers alter a person's daily activity level, and often make them feel worse. Taking too much of any medication can cause harmful side effects. Individuals that have taken ibuprofen for a long time are at risk for liver dysfunction and gastrointestinal bleeding. At the same time, anti-inflammatory drugs like aspirin and Aleve were linked in 200 to several thousands deaths caused from bleeding ulcers and their complications. These are some of the reasons why back pain sufferers prefer to try natural treatment for back pain.

One natural treatment for back pain that many are choosing to try is Eazol, an anti-inflammatory that is 100% natural and safe for your system. It contains some natural botanical ingredients such as white willow bark, lobelia and boswellia. In addition, Eazol acts as a lubricant for joints and muscles. It works as an immune system regulator as well as an analgesic in removing the pain.

Yoga is another natural treatment for back pain that is becoming quite popular and widely used by back pain sufferers. Yoga is a special kind of exercise and aerobics that are healthy for your body. Many doctors also recommend yoga for many of their patients, including pregnant women.

Hot oil baths are also a great natural treatment for back pain, especially when natural essential oils are added to the hot bath water. These oils are very effective in relieving the pain, whether they are used in the bath water or as a hot oil massage. One very widely used and accepted hot oil bath is with Eucalyptus and Peppermint added to the hot (warm) bath water.

There are many vitamins sold in health stores that are very effective for back pain such as Vitamin B-12, Magnesium, Vitamin D, Chamomile and many others. It's very easy today to go with natural treatment for back pain when you have so many choices available.
